Outline Itinerary

DAY 01:   JAYAPURA  ARRIVAL  – WAMENA (-/L/-)
Arrive at Sentani Airport or we will pick you up at hotel and transfer back to the airport for your flight to Wamena around 10:00am or 12:00am (baggage allowed for these flight is 10kg only per passenger, as you can leave your unnecessary baggage in Jayapura with us before leaving. (please note: the flights are delayed very often due bad weather, technical problem, operational of  flight). Arrive at Wamena airport, transfer to hotel. After short briefing, visiting Napua hills with good panoramic of Baliem Valley, then lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch continue driving to Wesaput village to see the traditional hanging bridge and Dani villages. Before drive back to hotel, stop at traditional market to see the local people how they selling their products. Dinner will be on your account  and overnight at Baliem Pilamo hotel or similar

DAY 02:  TREKKING  (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. From here you will drive to Sogokmo where the trekking begins with guide, cook and porters. Walk and crossing the metal suspension bridge on Baliem River near by Sogokmo then hike up to 5 hours through the beautiful country side and Dani villages to Ugem. You will encounter and greeted by the Dani people who work in their steep sweet potato garden,  arrive in Ugem in the afternoon, accommodation at local houses. Lunch and dinner will provide by our cook. (Walk approx. 6-7 hours)

DAY 03 :  TREKKING  (B/L/D)
From Ugem village, we hike up and down to Mugi river and cross the hanging   bridge. From this place  we still hike another 4 hours.  Lunch in box is provided, we hike up to the next Danis compounds  while to explore and experience the Dani daily life and culture.  Late afternoon arrive in Syokosimo village. Accommodation at local People houses. Lunch and dinner will provide by our cook. (Walk approx. 6-7 hours)

DAY 04 :  TREKKING   (B/L/D)
Today, we hike up and down, the trail is steep and could be very sleeper if it is in rainy season. The first 2 hours hike to the village of Userem through the steep sweet potato garden near the Baliem river. In userem village we cross another metal suspension bridge on the Mugi river, and after 30 minutes walk from Mugi river we will encounter and crossing another longer (40m) width traditional suspension bridge on Baliem river. From the Baliem river the trail is going up and take 2,5 hours to arrive in the village of Kilise.  Our accommodation is at a local guest  house. (Walk approx. 6-7 hours)

DAY 05 :  TREKKING BACK TO  WAMENA  (B/L/-)
Hike down through the beautiful country side and Dani villages. You will encounter and greeted by the Dani people who work in their steep sweet potato garden..  The trail is steep and could be very sleeper if it is in rainy season. then continue the last trekking day back to Kurima with regular path of local people. Picnic lunch have provided, and late Afternoon arrive in Kurima and Yetni then catch the car for drive back to Wamena town in 40 minutes.  Dinner will be on your account and overnight stay at Baliem pilamo hotel or similar (Walk approx. 3-4 hours)

DAY 06:  BY FLIGHT TO  JAYAPURA – NEXT DESTINATION  (-/-/-).
Without any breakfast, transfer to airport for your flight to  Jayapura  and the Next flight destination. Our staff will help you during connection of flight.
